out the door by 6am, slow and easy 5 miles. really hot and humid, but just concentrated on running slow and steady. i really like watching the sun rise. the sky starts to lighten up, then a band of orange on the horizon, then the sun starts to creep up, reddish-orange and climbing slowly over the surf. just awesome. I took a few breaks to run down to the waterline and just watch the sun rise. got my miles in, and that's what counts.
right after i walked in the door, I went to the gym with T. spent some quality time with the foam roller. knocked out a few sets of pull ups, toes 2 bar, and dips, just for the hell of it. but I mostly pulled equip for her, counted reps, coached a little. and then i just took it easy on the mats while she worked through the WOD. i could get used to these lazy trips to the gym.
