rest day from running. last year, we joined the local crossfit gym for a 3 week couples rate. this year, with my running, i am not willing to do whatever crazy ass WOD some local trainer comes up with. i can't let anything get in the way of my training plan. so we did a 2 week membership at the local globogym that we had used 2 years ago. lo and behold, they installed a Rogue infinity rack. just enough bumpers for one person to lift. so i can do what i want, and T can still do the Crossfit Everett WODs from home. we were really happy to see this equipment waiting for us. its up on the 2nd floor though. if you drop any weights, its makes a big boom that echoes through the place. so far, nobody has told us not to, to threatened to kick us out.
i did 7 rounds of strict Cindy: 5 strict pullups, 10 pushups, 15 air squats. then i did some coaching for T, watched her form, set up her equipment. it was a good day in the gym. although there were a ton of people using the nautilus equipment, we ahd the rogue rack all to ourselves. its going to be a good trip.
